Hi,
My name is Stuart Lawson and I live in Sale, Victoria. I have had an interest in Westminster Fine China made in Australia for quite some time as I have an aunt who ran the office from 1958, when it had been in business only a few years. I have a small collection and thought that it might be about time that their ceramics were recognised and documented, and putting something up on the web seemed like the best way to go.

I'm still looking for any information, catalogues, advertisements, history, memories, photographs of pieces etc., etc.! especially memories of those who might have worked there, as I would like this site to be a social history, not just a catalogue. I am adding whatever information and photos that I have, but will be looking for you to provide most of it - I only have limited resources to buy every piece!

Thanks to all those who have contacted me and sent me details and photographs of their collection - it is greatly appreciated.  And a big thank you to those many sellers on the internet, who are now too many to list out individually, and whose images often illustrate the site.

And finally, special thanks to Carol and Gordon Billett, without whose inspiration of their photographs and all of the documents they unselfishly loaned me in the  early days of putting this all together, it would never be as good as it is - thanks guys!

I can be contacted on stuart.lawson3@bigpond.com
